Detailed JD :
The role is Test Architect requires depth as
well as breadth of experience in testing, from full-lifecycle, hands-on,
end-to-end exploratory testing to root-cause analysis at all layers of complex
software systems. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a
practical and theoretical understanding of how to design tests and test
strategies that best deliver the data required to decide when software of
different architectures and business purposes is ready to ship.
Based in Bangalore, the Test Architect will anchor
test automation and mobility testing practices. The role is primarily
technical.
Technical requirements:
·
At least 10 years’ experience in development and
testing
·
At least 3 years’ experience coding for production
in C#
·
Experience using Visual Studio Test Tools, Team
Foundation Server (TFS)
·
At least 2 years’ experience developing automation
for mobile applications and web applications on smartphones, tablets, or
phablets
·
At least two years’ participation in Agile
production environments
·
Has designed frameworks using open source tools in
customer engagements
·
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or
equivalent.
Desirable but not required:
·
Experience coding for production in C or C++
·
Testing of Azure or AWS applications or systems
·
Has designed and implemented SOA automation
solutions using SoapUI, SOASTA, GreenHat, or equivalent

skills for both technical and non-technical business audiences
· Team
player, promoting tool development and reuse
· Confidence
in providing customer guidance in forming complex test strategies
