ROLE SUMMARY	System administration on various Windows Server Versions like: Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012 R2 IIS and .Net Stack deployments System Center and Nagios Monitoring configuration and implementation Open Source Database Administration activities (MySQL or PostgreSQL) Disaster Recovery planning and setup in cloud. Work with Amazon AWS Cloud or Windows Azure Cloud components. Automation of various tasks like installation/configuration/deployment tasks. Performance Analysis and Tuning on various phases of application components like: OS, Web Server, App Server and Database .Net/IIS Stack implementations: HTTP Server, .Net and MySQL/PostgreSQL Work with Cache layer components Memcache, Redis or Disk Cache Writing of Power shell/Perl scripts for various tasks. 24/7 Production support for client applications. Interacting with clients, understanding their requirements Perform daily backups, log analysis and log management. Troubleshooting of production issues and provides a detailed Root Cause Analysis report for the clients. Quarterly Infrastructure auditing reports.
MUST HAVE	Technical Expertise Expertise in Windows Server Administration Active Directory Setup and Configuration Terminal Services Configuration and Management WSUS updates and Security patch updtes. Strong experience in setting up IIS Servers and .Net Deployments Expertise in implementation of Nagios/System Center 2012 monitoring tools. Expertise in implementation of custom plug-ins for monitoring tools. Expertise in network file sharing implementation: DFS, and FTP Strong knowledge in networking, IP Addressing, Subnetting, Netmask etc. Strong experience in OS and Application performance tuning. Strong knowledge in Domain Management (DNS) Strong experience in 24/7 Production support. Experience in ticketing systems like: Jira and Request Processing System etc. Experience in Firewall – iptables. Strong experience in MySQL/PostgreSQL administration Strong experience in MySQL/PostgreSQL replication, HA and DR implementations. Working knowledge on Infrastructure gap analysis. Good understanding of Windows Azure or Amazon AWS Cloud components. Skills Strong verbal communication skills Direct interaction with clients.
