Job Description
The Project Manager is the primary owner for the IT platform consolidation and digitisation strategy and process improvement projects supporting the quality functions. This person is responsible for strategy, design, implementation and support activities for the Digital Manufacturing Record Book initiative and the Quality Tools consolidation projects.

Essential Responsibilities
Owns digital manufacturing record book (DMRB) digitisation platform strategy, project execution and operational excellenceManages end-to-end scope and delivery plan for project execution across DMRB solution. Partners with quality to manage all aspects of one or more projects from initiation through closure.
Drives forward and manages the global quality tool consolidation projects working across functions such as Engineering, Services and Manufacturing
Works in partnership with global quality functional leaders to deliver leaning and process excellence within quality and failure analysis and testing.
Develops and implements comprehensive project plans, encompassing project team structure and resource assignment, implementation, testing and training plans, creation of a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements and ensuring successful transition to support and maintenance teams
Creates actionable risk and issue tracking mechanism for all risks/issues, including time, budget, scope, and associated plans to contain an/or mitigate; escalate as needed
Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback
Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer
Facilitates all testing, including end-to-end testing, assist source and target teams with testing and validation activities as needed
Delivers all required documentation, including system requirements, interface requirements (IRS), and necessary validation deliverables
Manages all costs associated with project(s). This includes S2 planning and budget tracking/reporting
Delivers appropriate communications and status updates to all stakeholders
Manages resources to meet program excellence and operational excellence goals

Job Requirements
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
Minimum five years IT experience of which two years should be in project management or equivalent
Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication
Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization; You will be able to communicate effectively where English is not the first language
Business focused problem solver
Understanding of IT technologies and how to apply them • Ability to see the 'bigger picture' and maximize the overall value of IT service delivery; demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority
Experience with process quality methodology
Strong leadership skills
Desired Characteristics
Six Sigma or Lean experience (Green Belt/ Black Belt certified)
APM or other Project Management qualification
Experience with Oracle ASCP/ Quality IT tools
