Overview of the
business area:
The role is
within the Cross Products IT department. One of the main functions of this
department is to develop and maintain set of global applications that enable
regulatory monitoring and disclosures.
Responsibilities:
•
Communication - The role involves engaging
directly with senior Compliance stakeholders from multiple business areas based
in different geographies globally.
•
Managing relationship with business management
& operations, business system contacts etc., on a Global basis
•
Analysis –
•
Analyze system requirements
•
Analyze business processes and conduct gap
analysis
•
Analyze and onboard the relevant
businesses/enhancements onto IT systems
•
Stay abreast with the dynamic regulatory
environment
•
Documentation –
•
Prepare detailed requirement specification documents
•
Model business processes and workflows
•
Interact with development and test teams and
conduct requirement walk through
•
Test case review and UAT co-ordination
Experience and
Skills:
Must have
•
In depth understanding of financial markets,
equities and trade lifecycle
•
Structured approach to analyzing and
documenting requirements
•
Strong data analysis, data flow and data
mapping skills
•
Excellent written and verbal communication
skills
•
MS office proficiency (Excel, Visio, Word,
PowerPoint)
Good to have
•
Experience in dealing with external vendors
would be a plus
•
Basic SQL knowledge
•
Exposure to multiple business lines within a
universal bank
